Biography

Lauren Frey Daisley’s writing regularly appears on TheMorningNews.org and has been mentioned in publications ranging from the Guardian UK to Gawker.

She is the announcer for the nationally-distributed NOW on PBS and a relief host on WQXR. Lauren has voiced narration for clients including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Columbia/Legacy, Simon & Schuster Audio, and the Woodhull Institute for Ethical Leadership. She has also hosted on Sirius Satellite Radio and WNYC Radio; and written and produced the national, Public Radio International show, Fair Game. Her interviews include Maya Angelou, Seth Godin, and Kathie Lee Gifford.

Lauren also works as a Senior Publicist at a division of Ruder Finn. Her clients have included ad brand JWT, charity Women Moving Millions, and former White House Economic Advisor Todd Buchholz.

She is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and the recipient of the School’s Artist and Scholar Award. 

Outside work, Lauren is a competent seamstress, a passable climber, and a talented unicyclist. She lives with her husband in New York City.
